IMMEDIATE WHITE SKIN ??! : MAGIC SNOW & 7 SECONDS SPEED WHITE REVIEW

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to be reviewing two products that my sister used to achieve immediate white skin.
She is into cosplay so her make up mostly focuses on having white skin.

She has slightly oily skin.
Her skin is not sensitive and not prone to breakout.
So far, she has been using these two products as a make up base and have no skin issues.
Personally I have not tried it on my face because I don't see the need for a whiter skin ( I would much rather just work with my natural skin tone)

However for my sister it is different because she has cosplay events and photoshoots to attend.

Let me just go into the products:
1) 7 Seconds Speed White by Skin Factory
2) Magic snow by April Skin

This are to be used as makeup base (after your sunscreen, before your foundation)

As you can tell, magic snow formulation is more watery.

Whitening effect:
7 Sec white has a stronger whitening effect on the skin
Magic Snow has less whitening effect on the skin compared to 7secWhite, however the whitening effect is very buildable.

Finish:
7sec white looks very flaky, matte finish, more difficult to blend, will accentuate dry patches.
You might be able to work with it with a well moisturised face taking your time to blend.

Magic Snow, blends very easily on the skin, looks extremely natural. Feels moisturising however does not give off a dewy finish. Looks like skin.
Recommended for both oily and dry skin types.

Conclusion:

My sister personally prefer magic snow because it is much easier to blend into the skin and has a more natural finish. The whitening effect is buildable so apply until you achieve the whiteness you want.
Even though magic snow is slightly more expensive compared to 7sec white, I do believe in quality over quantity.

Magic Snow 70mL (2.4fl.oz)
$19.90 from Qoo10

7 Sec white 100g (3.5fl.oz)
$15 from carousell

Dairy-free Diet Prevents Cystic Acne??!

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm going to talk about a change in my diet that helped my cystic acne.
So as I mentioned in my previous post, I used an exfoliant for help rid active cystic acne.
However, I believed it was the change in my diet that prevented those annoying cystic pimples from coming back.
I read somewhere online that a dairy-free diet could help reduce acne and due to desperation, I tried.
It surprisingly worked for me and you have no idea how thankful I was.

So you might be asking, what is a dairy-free diet?

Basically, not consuming any form of dairy (okay it is obvious) but what exactly is dairy?
People that knew me know how much I love ice-cream, cheese, cream pastas, milk, custard, puddings, creamy soups, cakes and the list goes on.
All that goodness in these foods unfortunately contains dairy, which in turn contains 'animal sugar'. A more scientific name, lactose. I later found out that lactose was the cause of my cystic acne so I quit consuming any form of it.

How was I so sure dairy was the culprit?

I was always dairy lover, my skin always have small pimples and black/white heads in random in more oily parts of my face.
There was nothing unusual until I started getting cystic pimples as I don't usually have them.
Mostly of the cystic acne was cluttered on my forehead and eyebrow area. I did not any change to my diet whatsoever, neither was I consuming more dairy in my daily meals.

IT JUST HAPPENED.

New cystic pimples just started appearing one by one, and soon I having so many of them I lost count. It was probably about 5 - 8 of them and yes, it was depressing.

Anyway, I stopped dairy for one entire week and new cystic pimples stop appearing.

I disciplined myself to stop any consumption of dairy products for an entire week, which included any foods that contains milk/butter/cream.
I even went to the extend of looking at the ingredient list on food packaging before deciding to eat them. I may sound extreme was I was really determine to find cause of my sudden cystic acne outbreak.

After one week,

No new cystic pimples appeared. Nothing. Just the same 5 - 8 active cystic pimples and I saw that they just remained the same size. Not getting bigger, or more painful.
(It used to get bigger and more painful, but still no head ugh)

Trial 1:
I was still uncertain whether dairy was really the cause of my cystic acne, soooooooo I gave myself a good treat of ice cream (after one week of controlling my love and craving for all that goodness)

NEXT MORNING BAM A NEW CYSTIC PIMPLE
I'm not even joking when I said a new cystic pimple appeared the next morning. The minute I woke up, it was there.

&

Trial 2:
Still feeling skeptical because I was not ready to give up dairy in my life, I decided to try another week of dairy-free diet again.
And after one week of 'suffering not being able to consume dairy', I ate ice cream again!

Nevertheless, this time I was convinced because next-morning-waking-up-shit repeated.
A new cystic acne pimple appeared.

Now, how could it be that during the two separate weeks which I was on the dairy-free diet, no new cystic pimples appeared. However right after I consume dairy, the next morning I have a new cystic pimple?
Well, I answered my own question and found out dairy was really the cause of cystic acne for me.

Conclusion:

1) I found out that dairy caused new cystic pimples to appear on my forehead/eyebrow area
2) I found out that dairy caused active/current cystic pimples to 'grow' bigger and become more painful.

I have been been on this dairy-free diet for about a year now and I found that my skin has improved drastically.
Along with the use of  Paula's Choice Liquid 2% BHA Liquid and the use of Innisfree Whitening Pore Cream, the products helped me get rid of remaining active cystic and acne scarring.

Disclaimer:
This dairy-free diet might not work for everyone. It just so happened worked for me and I am truly lucky able to find the cause of it without much effort.
My cousin has the same condition as me (cystic acne on forehead and brow area) and for hers the cause of it was chilli.
I'm glad she managed to find out what was the cause of hers because it is different for everyone.
I hope through this post you can learn a thing or two on how to improve your skin.
Don't ever give up and be patient because the results will be worth your effort and time :)

How I Cleared My Cystic Acne: Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Review

My first post:

I am going to be reviewing my favourite product for my acne prone skin.
I was suffering from cystic breakout and nothing worked then.
I used benzoyl peroxide (2.5% and 5%) from Benzac but it apparently only dried out the skin surface.

The most annoying part about cystic acne is that it does not have a head.
This makes it difficult to remove because all that pus and bacteria is just stuck under the skin and there is practically nothing I could do about it.
I suffering from major cystic acne for about 2 months before I found out about this amazing product that improve my skin drastically.

It is none other than Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid!

I actually found out about this product through a youtuber, Wayne Goss.
This link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs1PHQZu5q8
Seriously, just go watch his videos. I find them really informative and helpful.

How I use it:
After toning, I use this like an essence. And I end off my skin care routine with a moisturiser and eye cream.
I pour an adequate amount on my hands and use both hands to gently spread and pat it on my face avoiding the eye area. I spend about a good 30 seconds just patting it on my face to make sure as much product is being absorb into my skin. It can feel like you're slapping yourself.

Product:
It is a transparent slightly more viscous than water consistency.
It is said to be an exfoliant.
The liquid formula is stated to be suitable for all skin types but I think it is targeted towards oily or oily combination skin.
The lotion formula is stated to be for dry skin.
The gel formula, which I tried before as well and didn't like it as much as the liquid, is also for oily skin. However it gave a very sticky feeling to the skin and I felt it did not really absorb as well into my skin.

Result:

It drastically reduced my cystic pimples in a matter of 5 days (I use this twice a day)
After 5 days, 70% of my cystic pimples were flat and gone.
I'm not even exaggerating. The remaining bigger cystic pimples took a while longer, probably about 10 days to disappear.

I was freed from cystic acne in a matter of 10 days. I thought how stupid I was, suffering from them for two whole months and feeling so depressed with my skin.

For your information, during the two months I literally had about 5 - 8 active cystic pimples all over my face, most on my forehead. It was so terrible, I really felt like crying every time I wake up and see myself in my mirror. Plus cystic pimples are painful so it was a nightmare to wash my face.

You can feel the slight pain of the cystic pimples while you're running your hands pass your face and feeling those bumps. It was terrible.

Not to mention how little foundation and concealer could cover because they are big bumps.

Before: was taken when my cystic acne was already improving but you can still see two cystic pimples.

After: cystic acne was completely cleared, remaining was scarring and hyper-pigmentation.

Conclusion:

To anyone that is feeling it right now, don't just swallow in self pity. I've been there and done that.
I TOTALLY FEEL YOU.
This is not a sponsored post. I used good money to buy this product. I decided to try this product then because I was desperate. I'm glad I tried it though.

Along with this product, I did some major changes to my diet which I will talk about in my next post.
But basically, I went on a dairy-free diet which prevented my skin from having more cystic acne.
This dairy-free diet did not clear my active cystic acne. It prevented it from coming back.

Note: Some people are allergic to BHA so not all skin types may suit this product.

It is retailing at $43 for 118mL
